My four year old

My Lainie Loo is 4 years old and I can't believe that I don't have any toddlers anymore. She is delightful (when not whining) and super clever (when not ditsy and running with scizzors) and beautiful (when not testing make up or markers on her face). I do adore this girl. I'm so grateful for these four years, for how Lukas and she are actually (I truly never believed it possible) starting to play (and not just fight) with one another once in a while (maybe once a week, but hey - I'm taking my victories as they come). She has mostly pulled through a pretty big funk since after we moved. SHe isn't fully there - not sure if it is a stage still or just time after moving or what, but I look forward to seeing my more confident girl more complete once again. I get glimpses:

She got a electric piano for her b-day with a microphone (a crappy little thing, but it will do for sure). She confidently sings in spanish to the disco beat. Not sure why that is her language of choice to sing (esp since her vocab is so limited so she just repeats the same spanish phrases over and over), but it is hoot.

I am teaching ESL and getting more involved in some missions things and Adelaine has started giving me her ideas on how to help people (in general and specific people we are interacting with). Needless to say I love it and am thrilled to see her engage these situations more.

Thank you God for all you've done! - just some fun pics attached
